Latest Shounen that has been leaving me breathless.

Having been a fan for years of Dragon Ball, Yuyu Hakusho, and Rurouni Kenshin, it has been difficult to find new Shounen animes that catch my attention from start to finish. But in the latest years, a few things have been changing in the anime industry, as if the manga creators and anime animators wanted to recover in some way the essence of the 90s anime.

Even old works have been remastered, and classic works such as Hunter x Hunter, Dragon Ball, or Bleach, have been released in new manga volumes, and along with this, new anime chapters have been created, developing new seasons.

Definitely, the latest Shounen that has earned my respect and admiration, seeing authentic masterpieces in them are Boku No Hero Academia, Shingeki no Kyojin, Kimetsu no Yaiba, and Jujutsu Kaisen.

Boku No Hero Academia. (My Hero Academia)

Created by Kōhei Horikoshi and producer by Bones Studio, is the story of an academy whose function is to train the heroes of the future, through physical and mental training, putting its students to the test in different ways, in order to train each of their physical and psychological abilities, teaching them to work as a team and individually.

Chapter by chapter, season after season, the viewer can see the evolution of each character, hero, or villain, each one chooses his path and the way to get ahead.

From the characters to the main plot, the creator of this story leaves no loose ends, becoming very obvious when there are filler chapters to complete the season.

However, the most curious thing about the work is how the secondary characters and the main character (Deku) are integrated, making the work fluid and entertaining, making the viewer pay attention to the movement of each character.

Shingeki no Kyojin. (Attack on Titan)

This impressive work, which has had many spectators around the entire world in suspense, was created by Hajime Isayama, and produced by Wit Studio in collaboration with Production I.G.

The main plot of this work revolves around the fight between humans and giants (titans). Where humans fight to survive in an era where they are hunted and eaten by giants. In parallel, the story of Eren Jaeger and the environment where he grew up from childhood to adulthood unfolds.

With Shingeki no Kyojin, the true face of the war comes to light, full of intense feelings and hard decisions, where, among other things, it becomes inevitable not to see a certain apology for the Berlin Wall, whether voluntary or not. From the period at the headquarters, where the main characters find themselves training to be the best warriors, and titan slayers, to the discovery of the origin of the titans, experiencing an unexpected twist of the work, Hajime Isayama really keeps the viewer in vile.

One of the most shocking moments in the entire story is the evolution that Eren Jaeger suffers, from hating titans to discovering the origin of everything.

Finally, another interesting fact about Shingeki no Kyojin, is how it also stands out for its impressive soundtrack, especially for the opening of the first season.

Kimetsu no Yaiba. (Demon slayer)

This anime has become one of the most famous recent works of all time, both for the plot and above all, for the animation. There is no person in the world who likes Japanese animation, who does not know the high quality of the one that has been animated Kimetsu no Yaiba.

Created by Koyoharu Gotouge and produced by Ufotable, Aniplex, and Shueisha. The story of Kimetsu no Yaiba takes place in the time of Emperor Taisho, where a family of woodcutters living in the middle of the mountains will meet a terrifying end, leaving two members of the family as the only survivors: Kamado Tanjiro, and Kamado Nezuko.

An era of demon hunters who spend every ounce of their lives training and killing demons, as well as ravenous demons who abandon their being to hate, finding pleasure in human flesh and blood.

However, beyond this fight, and how the story is animated, what is also striking is the crudeness with which the feelings of the characters are expressed, from their most tender memories to their most terrible traumas, from which each one has chosen his path, or accepted his destiny.

Something curious? Not all demons are evil, and not all demons eat humans.

Jujutsu Kaisen.

What can a rebellious teenager do for humanity, even when humanity itself has no hope in him? Only the last words of his old grandfather were enough to change. A young man with great hidden abilities and potential, a war between wizards and demons, and a king of demons trapped in the body of a teenager.

Created by Gege Akutami, and produced by Mappa Studio, Jujutsu Kaisen tells the story of a thousand-year-old fight between demons and wizards (demon hunters), where the demons seek to eliminate humans and populate the planet earth, while the wizards counteract them in order to maintain balance, save humanity, and avoid chaos.

One of the most admirable things about this story is where takes place: in the present time. Both sides, wizards, and demons play with the different existing reality planes to develop their combat strategies and make the most of their abilities in order to defeat their opponents.
